Pi-nij’s father and Tip adopted Grieng and send him abroad for education. Pi-nij wasn’t quite happy about it, and always argue with his father until he had a heart attack. Pi-nij had a car accident and was paralyzed, the family’s will was put under Krieng’s name and obligated to marry Tip. Pi-nij do everything he can to break the two apart.
