In 1946, after the war, the country was in chaos, people were suffering and robbers were everywhere. Only one was unique, Sua Bai, a good man whose destiny turned him into the legendary bandit of Lopburi, stealing from the merchants and the rich who took advantage of the villagers and giving it back to the poor. Branded as an outlaw, he is pursued by the police. Captain Ying, from the federal police department, is assigned to the case, to bring Sua Bai to justice with the help of his aide-decamp, Sua Yod, the Double Pistol.
